Hello everyone! I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer. After months...years?....of really no news of Gosselin drama it seems to have picked up again. Jon is in a panic and the hysteria is amped at BL's again. To be honest with you, I haven't really paid much attention to what has been going on at the swamp that is Becky's. Poor Becks she has been reduced to writing recaps of old shows.
It seems Jon has had another epiphany and is going to go for another round of custody. Every now and then Jon remembers he has kids and feels compelled to do the concerned dad thing again. I'm sure it came to him while sunning on the beach on a recent Mexico vacation. Its the same ole same ole. The kids do not want to be with Kate and he has no money to fight it, he whines to the go to tabs to sell his story. Current girlfriend is on board and starts a go fund me.
I don't know about you all but this sounds all so familiar. Poor hapless Jon surfaces every now and then creates a scene and cries poor. This latest cry of no money is despite his claims of working two jobs, not paying child support and living in his girlfriends house.
Just like BL's recapping old shows Jon is crying poor. It is deja vu all over again.

He/she gets it. You don't have to starve to death, but posting pictures of the latest trendy shoes, or clothes, or lots of electronics, or NFL jerseys/tickets, trips, dinners, etc., and then asking for thirty grand looks bad. Especially when people are defying law enforcement and sneaking into their demolished homes to retrieve some belongings.
We know someone who went on vacation as her husband was starting chemo, posting tons of pics and then a link to gofundme for $10,000, WHILE she was on vacation. Someone must have called her out on it because she then posted an explanation about the timing. He died and then she upped the amount. We were like, 'What are you DOING?'
Not a fan of gofundme at all. There's no accountability.

I may be in the minority but I don't subscribe to the belief that you should never take vacations if you have big bills to pay. If it can be done on a reasonable budget for a reasonable time, one shouldn't be made to feel guilty. Getaways even if they are day trips are important to recover, regroup and refocus, especially if your job or life is unusually stressful.

I don't know about Becks but if I were saving money for a lawyer to get my kids I would 'recover, regroup and refocus' AFTER I had the money to hire a lawyer and then the community pool would work just fine.
It really is the same old. It's been years since Jon was going to the rescue the kids from that big meanie Katie. He was going to swoop in and demand emergency custody until Kate had a psych eval. Bl's falls for it every time.
The first time Jon said he wanted custody (when Kate was on DWTS), Jon badmouthed the attorney who has a friend of his fathers. First, Jon said he wanted custody then changed changed his mind. Again, Jon's pulled these stunts over and over.
I can't believe he's asking for so much. Never mentioning that he gave up/lost rights. He doesn't even pay child support!!
It wasn't too long ago that Bl was declaring Jon to be well-off. His career choice as a Dj was going to lead to millions. Guess that was just another thing they were wrong about.
It's still my opinion that Jon could do some jail time over the incident with Hannah. Once the magistrate/judge reads the transcript of Jon telling Hannah to resist her mother, there should be hell to pay.

My hunch with this DJ career is based on the quality of the gigs he is getting.
No, you probably won't make much if all you do are two-bit weddings on the weekends. DJ's doing that are a dime a dozen and most work other jobs. This is not that. This s not that kind of DJ. These are major, trendy clubs that are doing huge promotions for him. His work is steady and consistent. He appears to be building a brand name for himself in the DJ world and getting recognition for it. I would guess six-figures too, which is great for him, as he has a lot of kids to raise and would prefer not to exploit them doing so.

To the best of my knowledge, public defenders are only appointed for criminal cases. He could call his local bar association and see if anyone does pro bono, check out legal aid or represent himself.

Thanks for clarifying, legal aid could help him. What happened to his other lawyer who was going to help him? Did he not PAY her? Jon is running a scam, hopefully the courts will see what he is doing. You can put a retainer down for a lawyer, and make monthly payments for their hours. If Jon doesn't have 2- 3 grand saved, no way will he ever get to court. It's just another sold story from Jon to abuse people to give him money. If he lives with his gf, is she paying for his keep? Seems he has little interest in working.

While the bleeps are gleefully planning a custody hearing where Kate is dragged off in chains and the court hands over the children to Jon along with multiple awards for Best Dad Evah, thought this blast from the past would be fun. And, just maybe, might make Bl's followers feel a tad foolish for believing everything she shoves down their throats.
Jon's interview with Steve Harvey, the one where he revealed he hadn't seen his son in 18 months or had all 8 kids together in 3 years, was taped in Dec. 2015.
According to Jon's timeline, Dec. 2012 would have been the last time he had all 8.
August 2012, a few months before Jon's very last time with all 8, Jon put out the story that Kate wanted him in jail for nonpayment of child support. Kate's attorney countered with a statement that Kate had relieved Jon of child support in April 2012 (Jon then shut down his twitter account). Oh, the uproar! First, Bl swore it was illegal to change the order. Then, she tried to make it sound as if Kate did not go through the court. Miraculously, a mysterious source revealed that Jon had been awarded more custody. Bl declared it to be 50/50 and rolled into some rhetoric of that being the reason Jon no longer had to pay child support. A short time later, Bl tried to make every other weekend and an evening dinner equal 50/50 including the declaration that school was not counted into custody time.
About a year later, Bl revealed that Jon was the source.
All the while they were shouting from the rooftops that Jon had 50/50, he wasn't even allowed to have all 8 kids. Years later, when Jon taped the Harvey interview, Bl's declared Kate in violation of court orders and Jon being too concerned about upsetting his children to call the cops and enforce his visitation.
Besides all this nonsense, how often do they think the court revisits custody? They want to believe that Jon has tried for custody countless times.

Guess what that change would be? You guessed it, more custodial time.
What cannot be done is, without a change in circumstances, agreeing to just "pardon" a parent because you are a martyr and feel bad for them, without a judge first finding that it's in their best interest--i.e. they are being supported somehow.
Child support is very complicated and state specific. Everything you posted is accurate.

I have such a hard time reading their crap. Instead of facts they make all these ridiculous scenarios.
They all need therapy.
Jon's begging for money while disregarding court orders seems to have the feel of fraud. His gofundme is all innocent and victimish. His #savethegosselinkids is a cruel tag of which I'm sure the court disapproves. There's no upcoming custody hearing. According to Jon's mom, (whose statements aren't helping Jon at all) the temp 50/50 of Hannah was rescinded on August 17th.
Now, he's only see the four on Sundays for a couple of hours and Hannah was removed from Jon for 30 days.
I would have been really surprised if there had been no repercussions for Jon keeping Hannah from Kate's visitation. As the court sees it, he was given the gift of 50/50 and abused it. He disregarded the order, then used it to sell stories and attack Kate. He didn't return Hannah as the order stated. Bl knows what it means when it's on record that a parent encourages a child to resist visitation. According to the rags, the judge was threatening to send Hannah to foster care while Jon was telling her to hang onto the car. He/she would not have been pleased. Bl acted is if it was no big deal, but she knows.
So, Jon screwed up big time with no thought to his kids, attacked their mother, sold stories, and now doesn't get to see his kids as much.
If Jon's mom keeps badmouthing Kate in the press, she too may find herself without visitation.
Hey bleeps, keep sending your money to this loser. Never mind he doesn't abide by court orders, his actions cost him visitation, and that there's not even a hearing scheduled. No amount of money is going to erase what he's done.

Just a small correction to my above comment. It was not Jon's mom who said the temp 50/50 order of Hannah was rescinded on Aug 17. It was a source.
This whole thing is so bizarre. If the transcript of the police incident was correct, there was no way Jon was going to "win" after instructing Hannah to hold on and resist Kate for three hours. None of his behavior is acceptable for a 40 year old man.

Based on my experience a 30 day no contact order would be very odd when a child really wants to be with a parent. Very odd. It would be just like a Kate lackey to continue to imply there is something so wrong between Jon and Hannah they simply can't even be around each other. And like Layla says, they know Jon can't respond so they can control the narrative. A parsing his custody down THAT MUCH would be an incredibly disruptive change most judges would not do. You go from 50-50 to a Sunday visit.....a judge does not play roller coaster with children like that.
Either this judge is really nuts, or this is not true. It doesn't add up with the typical way such situations are handled or how careful judge's are supposed to be to not ping pong kids' emotions around. Now I'm going to call it--I don't believe it.

This is my thoughts on what went down and of course just speculation. But if BL can do it, hell why can't I. I think that after the judge's most recent decision, Jon was really pissed and angry. He also thought what a great opportunity it was to cash in once again on all of this and he contacted the rags and sold the story.
It is a little too coincidental that Jon's mom was interviewed for the same story that they released the details of what happened in court.
My guess is that selling the previous stories did not help him with this whole custody mess. The judge is not stupid and he will see right through who was behind the release of this info too.
Somehow, the tone of Jon's mother in these articles reminds me of the articles, eventually proven to be given by Jon and his flame du jour, of Kate giving the kids moldy food for lunch. Jon will do anything to get his name in print, especially if he can make money doing it and it slams Kate and makes him the victim. If he cared so much about his kids, he would have gotten his act together and tried to get custody of all of them a long time ago. There is a reason the judge sides with Kate each time and it's not because Jon is Father of the Year.

What's really sad is that Bl is favoring Jon over Hannah. They always favor Jon over the kids. Bl knows the position in which Jon put Hannah. He should have been telling her that if she wants more time with him she had to go with her mom. Jon got Hannah's hopes up for being with her him. He did nothing but use her and possibly put her in disfavor with the court. It's not as if he doesn't know the path to more visitation (which was already restricted). As Judy said, if Jon was serious, he would have gotten his act together a long time ago. It must tear up the kids every time Jon does this.
Bl's has turned denial into an art form. It amazes me how they want to believe for over three years, Kate has defied court orders and kept Collin away from Jon.
The below reminds me of when Jon cleared out the joint account and was ordered to pay it back. They all cried "Kate took some too!" They've got to find a way to cancel out Jon's sins. Bl is delirious but they will latch on to it.
Sure, Bl that's just how the judge will view it; with Jon being forced to show up, with it being Kate's time and the judge insisting that Hannah go with Kate, with two cops as witnesses, with the cops "okay" for Kate to physically remove Hannah with Jon coaching her to resist. Yes, the judge and GAL are going to be all over Kate's statements trying to cajole and reason her defiant 13yo daughter out of her dad's car. The court will see it just as you say. Judges love it when parents disregard court orders and put unnecessary stress on their kids. They especially love repeat performances. I'm sure they'll soon be sending officers of the court to Kate's house and will carry out the kids on fluffy pillows to Jon's awaiting arms.

If there was some change in custody, maybe the judge based it on the audio of the altercation on August 17th. He could hear for himself how Jon was telling Hannah to fight her mother. It might have swayed the judge to actually hear that rather than hear stories secondhand.

See, maybe, but look at Kate's comments on the tape. She said at least three things to the child that are extremely manipulative, even emotionally abusive, all also on tape. If the judge is going to be upset over the tape, fair enough, but I can't imagine he wouldn't be livid at Kate, too. Neither parent comes out smelling like roses on that tape.

Reading back, so Jon tried the con game, got his azz once again handed to him in court, and has his Mommy selling stories too? Wow, Jon's family really are gutter rats.

It's been 16 days since Jon's gofraudme was started. Even after the story was picked up by the rags, it still has a pathetic $2,698. More than I thought, If we had started a pool, I would have guessed he would top out at $2,155.
Almost a $1,000. of that came in right away from Colleen sharing/begging her 1,802 FB friends. She and Jon hit up their friends and the public without disclosing that Jon's visitation is now more restricted. I know some of the die-hard Kate haters would have donated no matter what. But, I wonder about others.
I guess sooner or later, the bleeps will realize Jon's starting from scratch and this was just another case of Jon not returning Hannah. There's no planned custody hearing with Jon asking for 50/50. Maybe not, since they don't question with all these supposed hearings why Jon has not seen Collin. Nor do they question why Jon is focused on Hannah when they suppose Collin to be in such dire need.
All that bitching the bleeps have done and their sustained outrage about Kate's "grifting." There's got to be thousands of mentions of the fan giving Kate a pair of crocs (they also trashed the fan for years after). They're fine with Jon, who has blown through wads of money, having his hand out when two chunks of the country have suffered disasters.
If you have the misfortune to know someone like Jon, then you know how his pathetic act can get people feeling sorry for him. These are not deep thinkers. If they were, they would question why he is always failing at everything he does. At some point you have to acknowledge and accept that it's HIM, not anyone else. He has the custody arrangement that he has because of who HE is, not because of anyone else.
It seems that Jon CAN pull himself together for a little while. He had 50/50 custody of one of his kids, and what does he do? Well, he ruins that, of course. That's his nature. If this grown man had sense and wanted to keep the custody that he had there is no way he would be seen or heard encouraging Hannah to defy the police, Kate, the courts, and just not let go of the car door, so as not to go with her mother, as per their custody agreement. Can Jon or anyone really think that a Judge would have rewarded Jon for that? The Judge sees what's there - Jon being manipulative.
But still there is his mother, ignoring the facts and the truth and blaming Kate. It's all Kate's fault. Ahhh...I feel a bit sorry for Jon's mother. Clearly she doesn't want to believe that her son is his own worst enemy.

Even if there is a hearing scheduled, why is it anyone's business? Isn't it a private matter?
My friend was assaulted a few years ago by her roommate and asked a few of us to go to court for moral support. There was apparently a big case that was played out in the media in the next courtroom. (I asked a well-known local news reporter what they were doing there.) When they went in, a bunch of people did too. It was probably full in there. I thought, "OK, so maybe they are family." But....when they got bored, they came to the courtroom we were in. In and out, in and out, it was a revolving door. Someone told me a lot of people go to court all the time just for entertainment. It's weird!
Good grief. Are they really that desperate to keep Kate on their front burners that Becks feels compelled to write a recap of a show from 2011!

Then why do you have this blog? What is it's purpose? Didn't you once say it was to hold Becks and the posters at 15 accountable? Your latest post is about Jon. Isn't that making it a blog defending Kate and disparaging Jon? Maybe Jon is the "center of your life" or perhaps, Becks is the "center of your life".
You tell other people to "get therapy". That's a typical response when you have no other argument for their remarks. Perhaps, you should "get therapy" to find out why you consider any other opinion than yours is the wrong one.

I quite enjoyed the meltdown as well. My favorite part when when she told the poster that s/he had no right to express an opinion on an act of terrorism because the person had not been a "mere mile away" from a terrorist act as she had. And only paragraphs later, she ranted about how anyone can weigh in on the death penalty because of "free speech." Seems to me that by her logic, the only people who can weigh in on the death penalty are dead. Or maybe on death row -- not sure if they should "butt out."
Meanwhile, Tucker's Mom thinks it's not far-fetched to believe that Collin is dead, because he has not been seen in public in 18 months.

Hope everyone had a wonderfully tasty Thanksgiving! We did. Still enjoying the leftovers from my mom's home.
Nothing has changed at Bl's. Was just reading. Politics aside, with BL grandstanding on every point, it is the same. Some are still waiting on the holy grail of custody hearings. Never looking to the reality of how long it has been since Jon has had access to Collin and the rest who do not see him. They rolled over and moved on about the part where the court restricted Jon's access and limited his visitation.
They are going on about Kate's pie as canned apples and not fresh. Not even realizing that Kate's recipe is for frozen pie filling. Kate's recipe cooks the apples til tender and then freezes them. I just sort of blanch mine and throw them all in a bag with the sugar and spices. Does that make me superior or inferior to Kate? Not sure where that falls on the scale of pie degradation.
You ask a profound and complex question, Merryway. Normally, your pie would be superior to Kate's by mere virtue of the fact that you are not Kate. However, you are a regular poster here and that might render you of equal inferiority. The big question is, do you use two to three different types of apples? According to she who is an expert on every single subject know to man, that will make your pie sing. And do you have photographic evidence that you peel your apples and don't use canned? If you can provide proof of multiple types of apples and the peels, I think you might just be deemed superior to Kate. Without that proof, however, I am worried for you.

Hope everyone is enjoying a good holiday week! We are snowed in, cabin fever, so I read at 15, which I haven't done in a while.
The kids are freezing to death on Christmas morning because the house is not heated properly. But...last year, she was spending too much heating that huge house, because they were all running around in tank tops in winter! She should have turned down the heat and put everyone in sweatshirts!
