Hoffman and Jon played a trick on Polly...whom they did not like. This was told to me by Hoffman when he was emailing me as Angela. I also verified it with another source who heard this straight from Polly.

I will never forget Irene. She was a woman obsessed and had a streak of cruelty. She thought she had really discovered a blog that was run by a TLC intern, LMAO at that.
I also remember Polly's post about Jon letting the chickens out. Jon was bffs w/RH and has been involved in hate blogs against Kate for a long time. Yet, Bl calls Kate the parental alienator.
Mostly what I remember about Polly is how she made herself out to be an expert about Kate and landed a spot on a tell-all TV show... and she had never even met Kate in person. (Another example of expert by zipcode... just because she lived in the same STATE.) All of those self-important people with their know-it-all opinions... The worst was Lillian Glass who "read" Kate's body language and was, of course, BFFs with Jon.
I also remember Irene, she was so obsessed with Kate. She would put Ks with every word to make fun of Kate.
I had not been to 15 in ages. What is up with those recaps?? Do people read all that? It's not a recap, it's a volume.

Hmmm, just wondering.... It seems that Jon and Colleen both changed their FB profile pics within days of each other. They both had up pics up of them as a couple. Now, Jon has profile pic of him and two of his girls. Colleen now has a pic of her and her dog.

There is nothing anyone could say on this blog that even compares to the destruction of those kids' body images by their mother. We talked, at length, about how thin those kids were years ago so I do not believe it's inappropriate to comment that they are blossoming with normal teen weight gain. No one would notice except for the fact that Kate puts them out there publicly. She is totally responsible for every horrible thing said about them and seldom does anyone on this blog cross the line. Really, you can't have it both ways when discussing public figures.

I never want to be in a room where everyone agrees with everyone else on everything. That tells me people are either not being honest with others about how they really feel or are not thinking critically enough to have their own independent thoughts. Group think is not good. I have and have always thought that differences are better for all relationships.
Well now, that's just a huge load of bullpucky. If the differences include links to back up one's point of view, and that point of view and those links don't agree with her point of view, the posters never see those links or see the posters opinion. It happened to me more than once. Disagree with her, provide back up and it's as though it was never posted. I even reposted links thinking maybe they were lost somehow the first time, but the reposted links didn't get posted either.
I don't know wny she will not allow another point of view when it comes to her opinions. Maybe because they're BS and she can't also provide links to back them up? Beats me. Chicken sh*t if you ask me.

I don't ever recall accusing someone posting in disguise here from 15. Whats the point of doing that? I have posted at 15 under a name I chose for myself not someone else's. When Hoffman was posting there a few years back I responded to him as 'AngelaR'. That was the name he used to email me with. He got it right away and made some excuse and left. LOL Becks never got it.

I meant to add this....I am sure there are posters who come here and try to stir up stuff and I recognize it when I see it most times. I let it go more than not because I really don't give a shit and it is funny to read someone who thinks they are clever and they fail miserably.
I agree with Sue Buddy. Speaking only for myself, I gave up there because if someone did have an opposing view, they would be attacked. I was often one of the people who would try to say 'hey, it is ok to disagree, no need to be rude or mean.' Then the shadow boxing started and persisted and I couldn't stand that. Right fighters do that and it's wrong. I love my husband to death but he is like that. I am 1500 miles away taking care of my mom who was neglected in her care home. He couldn't run the dishwasher so I was giving instructions and heard him break a glass. He tried to make even that my fault because I told him to carefully put it in there. I told him to take responsibility and he kept arguing so I hung up. Just no. Nobody is right all the time. And our differences ARE what make us unique and should be embraced, or at least honored and treated with respect. It is ok to be wrong or make a mistake, or have a differing opinion. Good grief.

One(BL) pontificates about how she is absolutely correct in her thinking, the other (Sage) does exactly the same thing. I had to laugh at the "mirror" comment from Sage. Fair enough not to believe anything as fact without a link. Unfortunately, because she spent the weekend she was outed for the birth fetish site cleaning it up and eventually got rid of it (no $ to be made in a non-fetish version, apparently), there is no link to provide. For those of us who were around when this went down, there is NO DOUBT that it was the same person. If this were two different people, that would never have happened.

As far as the new Busby show, I know I won't be watching. The large family thing has been done over and over again. TLC loves to keep throwing shows at its viewers that have been successful in the past.
As for all the people wishing Kate would crash and burn, that's not going to happen. But what has happened is something, I believe, Kate was hoping would never happen. And that is that her show would be the top earning show on TLC for far longer than this. While 1 million viewers is a lot, contrary to what some fans say, it's a lot -- it's nothing like she drew in the shows heyday.
I know, Catherine. Her refusal to address it is pretty much an admission of owning the site.
I don't know anything about the Busby family. I don't really watch TV shows all that much.
I don't think Kate cares so much about ratings as she does just having a show and a paycheck.
I think you're probably right about Kate wanting the paycheck, but without the ratings, in the long run, even TLC will cancel her show.
Thats true but I think they may be just idling right now. The twins turn 16 next fall and next year the sextuplets will turn 13...both are milestones for filming. Who knows? Some other shows may disappear or have less ratings than K&8 and they will be there.

I'm positive TLC will film the twins' 16th birthday and the tups' 13th birthday. Tbh I think they might even be filming the tups 12th birthday party soon. TLC isn't going to get rid of Kate no matter how much THEY think they will. She's stated she's coming back for another season this year (most likely this summer).
What I do think they'll do is after the tups' 13th birthday they'll take a break and then come back for either Mady and Cara's HS graduation or the tups' 16th birthday.

Yes, and I take no pleasure in that. In a sane family, kids should be with their mothers and grandmothers and aunts, but this is sadly not the case in Kate's world.
Good grief, JMO has no blame for Jon who went on Steve Harvey telling the world he only sees four of his kids. Perhaps, if Jon didn't want a response, he should have kept his mouth shut. If Jon quit selling tabloid stories about his kids and hanging out with paps who write nasty books about their mom, maybe the other children would want to see him.
It wasn't exactly all new info. Jon and Heller have both made statements about Jon not seeing all the kids. Kate has said that some of the kids have a relationship with their dad and some do not. It's the bleeple who resisted the truth as it bumps against their idealization that the G's kids bask in the glow of the perfect father. It is quite possible that her new boyfriend took her away for the weekend as it was Mother's Day. In Kate's mind, she "deserves" time away from the kids so likely it was her gift to herself. (A week with the kids, a week away from the kids.)
Clearly, her narcissism is kicking in with her doubts and fears about other shows taking the attention away from her and getting "kicked around" in the TLC schedule.
She should be ashamed of how she "used" Deanna and Milo to get the message out about Jon not seeing all of his kids. And I have NO doubt that this matter went to Court. Yeah, sure, the kids told Deanna about all about Jon (sarcasm) but there is NO WAY that either Deanna and Milo would have said a word without TFW's permission. Of course, she will never admit she had a hand in this dirty work. It is very pathetic that she goes to these measures and that she still feels it is necessary to conduct herself this way.
I hope the Judge ruled that all of the kids see Jon, until she can put their best interests first.

I'm not sure what kind of opportunities Kate was supposed to parley out of being a DWTS contestant. I don't know of anyone who turned their appearance on DWTS into superstardom.

It's amazing how they ignore Jon's own words and just let their imagination fly. There was no court battle to be had. Jon said that his case was not the norm. The court is aware that not all the children see Jon. Chances are that it is allowed because Jon is harmful to those children in some way. Otherwise, he would have the right to see his children.

Malcolm Gladwell one of my favorite writers has a great, and I believe correct, sociological theory about success. While a great deal of it is hard work and practice and ambition, the other major component is right place right time. You have to have both.
He breaks down how if the Bill Gates and Steve Jobs of the world were born just a year or two too early they would have missed out on the computer boom which lent itself to the two of them spending hundreds of hours during their teen years coding. They got so expert at it that by the time they were adults they were poised to take on the computer world and own it. But for being born at that right time, he does not believe they would be who they became. Genius has to be tapped at just the right time.
There could be someone with the mind to cure cancer but if they're living in a third world country and don't get the education we'll never hear from them. But if that school is built just as they are entering first grade, it will be a different story.

TLC was only involved when RH put his first version on Amazon and it was blocked (Sep 2012). After that, it was Kate and her attorneys. Kate filed the lawsuit in August 2013 and dropped it that same November. RH is quite the delicate little flower isn't he? Meanwhile, Jon looks healthy as a couple of horses.
Poor RH is suffering, but Jon had already given up legal custody of his kids to "abusive" Kate months before RH's first version came out. Jon knew all about RH's claims and still gave up having say-so in the lives of his children (April 2012). Of course, RH never mentioned that.

I truly believe that these people want HOMs and want to be on tv. Blogging, videos, gofundme accts, from the start it's a plan. When Kate did it, not everyone and their brother had a youtube channel or gofundme yet. But the technology of IVF, and even monitoring the progress of the use of fertility drugs, has advanced to the point where no one should be having 5 or 6 or 7 babies. Of course none of them have any intention of reducing. They wanted HOMs. It is hypocritical to say God doesn't want them to reduce. Perhaps it is a subtle way to prove that because she shows her love by cooking "delicious" meals for her children (I thought that is what moms do anyway), she is by contrast posting the photo that because a meal for her was prepared by her children (apparently by all six according to Kate), they love her too. Why update everyone what a loving family they are? She Insists this is the case in her Twitter so it makes you suspect the opposite is true.
Other than that, her tweet implies all the sextuplets were home with her yesterday. Why post it and why not say who specifically prepared it if you post such a thing? Does she still think of them as a six-pack, if one child made her lunch then all six are equally loving towards her? Twitter is her instrument to create a world that does not exist in that household, IMO.

Holy crap, they announced that Milo is back and I looked and someone is encouraging her to kill herself. After Milo engaged, they kept it going, saying they are sorry she didn't do it already and to find the nearest tree. I am not believing my eyes. That is abuse and I hope someone reports it. Totally uncalled for and completely inappropriate. What the hell is wrong with people?
I remember the Hatfield/McCoy getting good reviews. There's not a comparison to hold up to a reboot of Roots. They can't recreate an event that occurred when there were only 5-6 channels from which to choose. But, I bet it will pull in big numbers. I'm looking forward to it and also looking forward to seeing Jonathan Meyers in something other than The Tudors.
BL wants to include late Monday evening as part of the hub-bub of Memorial Day weekend. There will be plenty of people across the US with their tvs on. Kate usually only pulls in a million or so, she will probably get that.
I'm glad to see some of BL's posters are also unhappy about the tweets to Milo. I'm surprised by nothing on twitter anymore. Those people are so awful. It's obvious they are sickly obsessed. They are there day and night, and have been for years.

You can't rule out the possibility of something going on behind the scenes in family court either; I thought about that last month when it was pulled from the schedule. Did TFW sign a new contract using her legal custody and perhaps Jon is fighting that, based on what is allowed under legal custody? Perhaps TLC thinks everything is good, they announce new show, then its communicated to them that all is not good so they pull the show.

It's adorable that the haters continue to think that Jon is doing anything when it comes to his kids being on TV. When he had a say, he gave that say away. I guess they'll be holding out hope for six more years, until all the kids are 18 and over. That's a long time to waste your life worrying about kids who are being well taken care of and growing up beautifully.

Since it's not public as to what Jon is or is not doing in regards to custody, in PA a parent can petition the court for a change in custody. There is physical custody and legal custody which Kate has. If Jon were serious about his concern that he is not allowed to spend time with some of the kids or a child wants to live with him, he and Kate could mutually agree to change the custody terms. Knowing Kate, that ain't gonna happen. Jon would have to file a petition to modify. Pennsylvania law requires a substantial change in circumstances that are in the child's best interest when only one parent requests a custody change. The judge has a hearing. The petitioning parent must present evidence and witnesses why a change in physical custody is best for the child. Factors considered are if one parent does not foster a relationship with the other parent, parenting competence, child's relationship with siblings, and parental abuse. Since Jon had to hire an attorney, it stands to reason all is not well in regards to custody. Whether that is now an issue and her show's premiere being postponed, we have no way of knowing if and until a child ends up with Jon or a child or two are not forced to film = end of show. Remember, whatever is going on, it's all about what is in the child's best interest

Tweets that outrageous are in my view usually an indication of mental illness, anger management problems, or other mental health issues.
The problem is they're not operating from a rational or socially acceptable standpoint. They won't apologize or make it right because they have difficulty grasping the wrong.
Not making excuses, but as long as those really struggling mentally have access to the internet you will always see posts like that. It's not a matter of reasoning with them to be nicer and apologize as they are not stable enough to possess such reason. I don't think anyone should get very upset over them much less Milo. All kinds have access to twitter and you are going to find people on there who really need help. There is "no mentally unstable" rule on the internet! We've seen it in some posts here, too, some really off the wall drive bys who are clearly off. I am quite entertained by the BL trying to rewrite her own history to portray herself as some type of prodigy. Apparently in her world, turning 18 just before you graduate high school makes you really young. She talked about being so proud to be able to compete academically with her "older" classmates. Uh, I graduated from high school a few weeks after turning 18. Some of my friends were a few months older, some a few months younger. I think that would make me average.
And apparently her self-esteem would have plummeted had she been held back in preschool. First, I think she would have benefited from having her self-esteem taken down a notch or two. Second, nobody in preschool freaking knows that they're being "held back." It's preschool for god's sake. She really needs to get over herself.

I wasn't as young as you but I was a baby in the class, part of the back end. But I would have been bored if I were held back in school. I was ready for school and wouldn't have benefitted much from being red shirted. If anything I can see it harming my self esteem to not go on to kindergarten with my preschool peers. I was an A student throughout my schooling years. But for some students being held back can make all the difference in the world.
I turned 17 in January and graduated in May. I didn't know it makes me a prodigy. Oh. It doesn't! Just another graduating student. Whoop de freaking do!

My lifelong friend posted his senior portrait on Facebook yesterday and said he was 17 and another friend and I reminded him he was 16 because we took pictures in the fall and all of us turned 17 a few months later. That is three 17 year olds in a small class and there are no doubt a few more who were not in our tiny circle of friends. Very common.

They want to believe their own re-written history ignoring that Jon and Kate were in the middle of their divorce. Jon still had a say-so when the tups started Pre-K. Here's Jon talking to People because you know how he wants privacy for the kids. Less than two months later, he put up the sign on the gate that prohibited TLC from filming episodes and then sold the twins birthday to Entertainment Tonight. And, spent some of the birthday time out in the yard talking to paps. Bl's and her peeps ignore all that and still insist that Jon stopped the show because he wanted privacy and a normal life for the kids while evil Kate ignored their education and held them back so they could be filmed 24/7.

Okay now onto this topic of the kids and them being held back a year? I see absolutely no issue with them being held back a year. If they weren't ready they weren't ready. And when was it ever discovered that only two of the kids weren't ready (I don't think names were ever mentioned about which specific two unless going by this article and the two tup names Jon mentioned).
And they're still pressed about Collin going to a different school (I don't even think this was 100% confirmed too). Someone on there got a little over their heads and said Kate said he was going to public school but not once did she ever say public school. Lol. Mess.

Interesting - maybe it was more commmon among baby boomers to graduate at 17. My husband is 11 months younger than me and graduated two years after me. In my case, my mother, who hates kids, was pregnant with her third baby (LOL!) and had me take a special test to be admitted early so she wouldn't have three little ones at home. She told this story often. I remember taking the test! And I guess I passed. I'm curious if anyone else had this experience, or the birthdates were close enough to the cutoff to let the parents and school decide. In any case, it's interesting how common it is/was!

Farkle my sympathy for your friend. I do know that Hospice is a wonderful end of life organization and will lead her through her journey gently and with great care.
I didn't graduate HS at 17, well I did but I was like 17+8 months. I didn't graduate with honors or accolades(both my Nerd parents were just happy I graduated, and neither was I an A student. However, I did stay overnight once at HOLIDAY INN!
Thanks peeps for you thoughts and prayers for my friend. She died yesterday, the journey was 8 years of chemo, radiation, many tears and fears, but trooped all the way to the end. Funeral services are tomorrow, she is at peace now and I am just thankful for her friendship of many years.
I will be back, just need some time to catch up on things that have been put on hold for a couple of months. Hope all is well with everyone.

If someone wants to comment on this blog elsewhere, and they do, I have never once tried to stop that. I have never once suggested they have no right to do that, should not do that, cannot do that.
And there's where it's not hypocritical. We're allowed to comment on who we want on our turf, we are also allowed to exclude who we want on our turf just like you can shut the door to your home on someone you don't want to come on, yet conversely, speak your mind about them as part of your right to free speech. The thing Becks left out in today's bloviations was that when someone is having a civil disagreement with her (not violating the ruls) and that person provides links to back up their side of the disagreement, she refuses to post those links. What kind of free speech is that? It would be one thing if she admitted she flat out decides what she will allow to be seen, but she keeps talking about free speech. Where's the free speech if you disagree and actually go to the trouble to post corroborating links and she won't let the links be seen?

Yards generally do look amazing when they're tended to by a landscaping company.
Hmm...TLC must have put borrowed stunt hostas around the driveway trees for the kids' birthday episode a couple years back. They really made the property look great, with hostas around almost every tree.
Now, hostas are perennial and grow back bigger and better each year, yet there are no plants around the trees.
Not saying it's good or bad, just odd that they would actually plant JUST for the look, and haul it away after filming.
Chalk it up to more staging.

BL still insists that she knows the bestest way to pull in ratings for a series premiere, and it is not by showing it on Memorial Day Weekend. According to her, any show airing on the holiday weekend is filler or a d-list show.
Her bleeple will swallow her nonsense, never stopping to wonder how one draws a comparison to the premiere of a 4 part mini-series to the finale of five-season show.
In spite of the rush and madness of Memorial Day, 8.5mil viewers managed to watch Roots sometime Monday night. BL also should have informed the 16 million who tuned into the big basketball game that they were much too busy to be watching television.
Still waiting for the flip side of the coin. BL was insistent TLC airing K+8 on Memorial Day meant the show was filler, a throw away. Since TLC chose to use Outdaughtered as "filler," I guess they are saving K+8 for something special. :) ;)

5.3 is considered respectable, but not blowing anyone away. Breaking Bad's series finale pulled double that. So, putting it on Memorial Day may not have been the best decision after all, as we were discussing several days ago.
To put it in perspective, the original Roots reached 36 million at its peak. Ratings expectations have really changed in the last few years.

As far as Milo and Goody, they should have gotten their stories straight. Milo is just going for a pity party and uses the health excuse for missing opportunities to meet her heroine. I bet Milo is obese, not petite as she describes herself. She's all about Kate's body...very envious. That's why this person comes off as attracted to Kate. So it seems that TLC decided to post the 10th anniversary special on YouTube. I decided to watch it and it was really good! It actually wasn't just a clip show like previous looking back episodes but involved the kids and Kate actually doing stuff like building an igloo in the snow after the blizzard and going shopping at the grocery store. I really enjoyed and I hope TLC airs it soon on TV.

I watched about 5 minutes of the Buzzes. So staged!
Mom's at home with the babies and Dad has a meeting come up and can't get home to help her. It just popped up.
Interestingly...the crew is filming both him in his car, and her at home, on their phones for this conversation.
But you know, it's not scripted
The Buzzes are lightyears ahead of Jon and Kate when they started filming. Mama Buzz and Daddy Buzz are very aware of the cameras and how to stage shots, what to say, how to narrate to keep the storyline moving along.

It just takes a few seconds of critical thinking to see behind the curtain on these shows. Like when someone is paying So-and-So a surprise visit, and we have a shot of the door opening from INSIDE the visitee's house. Did the camera crew hide behind a planter? Were they dressed in camouflage gear? Does anyone think TFW and Jon really showed up unannounced to bring Christmas cheer to their neighbors as a delightful surprise? Every freaking action is scripted.
