There are some who do not believe that Kate is right when she says she was stalked.
Hoffman has admitted to going through Kate's trash 3 Christmases in a row to see what she bought and even comments upon the wrapping paper she used. Hoffman admits to being outside of Kate's house for the whole day on Easter Sunday to see how many Easter eggs she put out for the kids and even tweeted to a guest of Kates that he thought her boots she was wearing that day were 'hot'. Hoffman admits to following Kate and the kids to church and following them home and wondered if she could sense that he was watching her. Hoffman admitted to me as Angela of watching Kate run in the rain and how pretty she was.
Then there are the tweets that were tweeted to Kate that speak for themselves.

Yes, IMO, every time she mentions a company on twitter she is grifting. She doesn't want to pay for anything. Well, I did exgaggerate the lifetime supply, but it seems like she did. She said that her and the kids use 10 rolls of TP A DAY! So you know she told GP that.

I don't know what the answer is to that. I think the time to have stopped it would have been years ago when GWOP started with no breaks on and no response to what was just thrown out there.

I didn't know he had followed her to church. So sick. All sorts of alarm bells go off when you read about the behavior and actions he actually admits to (and seems proud of)! I can't imagine how dark the thoughts are that he might not share. I really feel for Kate and the kids.

My twelve-year-old started taking ballet lessons when she was three with me taking her to every class and videotaping/photographing what I could. But seriously, there was an article not too long ago where he was talking about how much they've grown and that it's amazing how much they eat, and he talked about how they demolished a huge bucket of shrimp or something. It was definitely about all the food he buys for them, which ain't cheap. He also said they have all their own clothes and stuff at his house. He didn't sound resentful, he was just stating the reality of the situation.
Jon pays for the children on his time, she pays for them on hers. We don't know what they've worked out in terms of insurance, school, and other expenses. That's not Kate being the sole provider, sorry.
I think their idea is one of many of the mommy bloggers in that we must throw our support behind this divine race of "mommies" and that any kind of criticism hurts all mommies. I for one think that's nonsense.

Jon is weak and lazy and is never going to grow up.
I remember the picture of Jon with the kids.Two of the kids were his GF's kids. I think there was maybe Three Gosselin kids.They may dispute it but two of those kids had blond hair.
If Kate were a heavy drinker, she'd show signs. Bloated face is the main one. I was a heavy drinker for years and my face was bloated, with puffy eyes. Now Jon has a bloated face and puffy eyes.Not saying he's an alcoholic but he fits the signs...not Kate.
No matter how BL tries to spin it, Jon has SOME of the kids for four overnights a month and 4 dinners. Compare that to what Kate provides for them the rest of the month and it's a no-brainer as to who pays for what.
The facts are simple. Jon does not pay support. Jon gave up all legal custody. Jon sees some of the kids two weekends a month and I think it will be less than that as the kids get older.

Jon from this time period was busy changing diapers and making sure the kids were fed and bathed and their needs met while Kate started to really amp up her "I'm a celebrity" lifestyle. This was a REALLY busy time for Kate. The show was really catching on and that book did WELL, no question about it. She was in her prime.
I picture him sort of like, whatever you ladies work it out. But like most husbands he's not going to go to great lengths to try to take up for Beth over his wife in a dispute this messy. What's telling is that she was quite clear that they remained very close to Jon for some time, so it doesn't sound like she blamed him for the incident or why would she remain friends.
When she said she broke things off because it got "messy" I took that to mean it was messy because of Kate. Sometimes you need to completely break off your association with the family for the good of everyone, even your relationship with people who are not an issue. Also, it could create turmoil for the children if Kate finds out they are seeing Beth on Jon's time. I have always liked Beth even when she didn't speak out, and I respect her even more now. It sounds like she put her own mental health and that of her family over this mess, which was the right thing to do, even when there are kids involved. At the end of the day, these were not her kids to save nor could she. I have a dozen more questions for Beth but she got the main points I was curious about out.

I think Jon thought Beth was making money off his kids and wanted his name on the book, as he was their Father. J/K also spoke out when Kevin and Jodie were making money selling stories when things went bad. Many people make money off people on TV, and J/K should have had a better lawyer to handle issues for them. A copy of a contract would have been better for ROL to show. imo

Maybe they had a clause that either party couldn't say anything for like 5 years or so. Many companies put that clause in contracts if you go to work for them and then leave.
I can't remember which one--J/K didn't want anyone to make money off their family. If they had a lawyer at that time, surely they were told that this was not possible as anyone could sell a story whether it was true or not. Sources never have to be revealed.
I'm sure at the time the press, show, etc was very overwhelming but a deal is a deal. Why Beth would say something now? Who knows, but didn't Beth's husband Bob give Jon a job and that didn't work out? I never saw all the shows, so I don't remember for sure.

I believe that when they were in the talking stages for writing the book a 50/50 split may have felt like the right way to go, but as time went on Kate might have/would have realized that giving Beth 50% of all profits just for writing down the story of Kate and Jon's life as told by Kate to Beth was excessive.
So Kate would start to think that Beth is taking advantage of the friendship by wanting so much of the profits and Beth would think that Kate is showing a lack of appreciation for all she's done for the Gosselin family over the years by trying to give her less than the alleged agreed upon percentage. 50% ownership of what Beth states is Kate's story told by Kate to Beth. That was not a well thought out deal and it sounds like it was their friendship that clouded the issue from the beginning. Kate could have told her story into a tape recorder and paid someone to type it out and found an editor to clean it up for a lot less than 50% of the profits and a co-author credit.
I, too, don't understand why Beth decided to come forward now. I didn't feel that she was necessarily bashing Kate... just telling her side of the story.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't understand Radar's need to destroy a person. Have they done this with anyone else? I know it's a tabloid and all, but who does this kind of thing?
If Beth's version of events is true, I think Kate was in the wrong not to honor the agreement. However, the way is coming across in these Radar pieces is very sanctimonious and passive-aggressive. She says she has nothing "personal" against Kate and then pretty much trashes her, and talks about her own fabulous integrity in contrast with Kate's "character." I'm not impressed with her.
I agree that Kate was wrong, but Beth did get her money, so, after all this time, why even bring it up. Her name is still listed as an author of the book.
Jon and Kate te were family friends with the Carsons. Why is the focus always so much on Kate....where is Jon in this whole scenario.

Shawn it wasn't hard to find. Kate's name is one of the top in the search engines and so by Beth linking her name to Kate's automatically placed her very near the top in most of the search engines. You can pay hundreds of dollars a month for advertising but when you learn the tricks for placement in the search engines there is no need to spend that kind of money for advertising. I had to learn the hard way but once I learned the tricks I saved quite a bit of money in advertising. It wasn't the money ROL paid Beth for the story that was valuable to her, it was that her new website would come up higher in the searches. So basically yes Beth is leeching off of Kate by this story on ROL.

My husband I both worked for a Canadian icon who has a iron-clad public persona to this day. The very thought of speaking out against her makes me shudder.
Working for her was a nightmare, and while she is driven and a hard worker, she is ruthless to all in her employ. I don't know, I think it's fine.
Another option which is what we sometimes did growing up is that one or two parents from the group of friends would go but they would have seats separate. So parents are still right nearby and can keep an eye on you but they aren't right next to you like a babysitter. And this was before cell phones, which the girls both have now.
The thing is too, it's just One Direction and it's mostly a bunch of teens, not something more adult where you'd see a lot more drugs and inappropriate behavior.

Steve and his wife have lived a private life. Steve has spoken one time on that Kate's World special. Where is Bl's outrage for his life being put up in the rags? She sure defends Jon being a private guy whenever his name is mentioned.

I've been reading some of the sheeple tweets the past few days. Their stupidity is mind-boggling. It would be a fascinating study for a psychologist who would be interested in publishing the findings in a journal. I sometimes wonder if they are really as dumb as they come across as being, or if they are deliberately feigning stupidity in their last gasp at trying to defend Kate. For their sake, I really hope it's the latter.

According to a hater, if you walk into a concert without your husband and you are with a married man, you are having an affair? Many people work behind the scenes for production of concerts, art galleries, etc and they are not married, but walk into the doors at night together.
Men and women have clients they meet and have a drink together, yet they walk into the bar or wherever together. They might not be married, oh nos!
1930 is over unless you stay in a house all day, I choose to meet clients when I want to. I set my schedule, depending on the client, which fits the criteria, etc. Has nothing to do with having an affair. Good grief, everyman or women who has done this better get a ok from the bleeple

In seriousness, I do think she has tried to mirror Kate as much as possible. A real friend would let you have to confidence to be who you are but this is not a real friend.
Remember when you were nine and mirrored the popular girl in school? Went out and bought the same skirt she had, tried to use the same cool expressions she did? Then you turn ten and realize that's just dumb and you stop doing that and just be yourself. That's totally Milo. I think she honestly thinks if she keeps trying to be EXACTLY like Kate, Kate will love her more or maybe she will be come just like Kate, her hero. Only she's a grown freaking woman. BL just gave us a little glimpse of her pre teen life. Trying to fit in to be like the cool girls. Maybe Kate reminds her of one of those cool girls that rejected her when she was young.She has a lot of resentment in her.
Wish Amber would tweet the person Jon was buying drinks for and write a story on this. She has no problem doing it to the person who tweeted about Kate.
Even her own posters are saying the wouldn't let their kids go to a concert alone but Admin knows children more than they do.She's one of those people that always has to have the last word and/or one up you on anything you've done.She's a classic narcissist.

Anybody else hate the way ROL has changed their site? Wish they would put it back the way it was. It's hard reading there so I do not go as often as I used to.
Belle, Amber does not care about Jon. He does not bring the traffic that Kate does. That is not until Jon does something colossal will they write anything and then they will only care about how Kate reacts.

I see there is much todo about Kate's need for a bodyguard. They are such hypocrites. It's fine for Jon to carry a gun to protect himself and the kids. They defended him firing a warning shot at a pap because of potential danger. But they declare that Kate's safe wherever she goes.
Long ago, Steve talked about threats on that special. But they ignore that too. I think it's awful that Jon contributes to this hatred when he's aware that threats have been made.

Once again, the "unit" philosophy is in full force. Cara does not like One Direction, she has made that clear. Why not let Mady choose a friend who is a fan on this boy band (and there are many) and let Mady truly enjoy the concert. Why sit beside your less than enthusiastic sister during your special night when you could have another "One Directioner" screaming right along with you? I just don't get it.
